Spinal cord - dorsal root ganglion (10x objective lens)


This medium magnification image of the dorsal root ganglion shows large cell bodies (perikarya) of unipolar neurons, characterized by their large size, separated by parallel bundles of myelinated nerve fibers. The ganglion is covered by a capsule of connective tissue.
