This high magnification view shows a several neurons, although the nucleus is visible in only one of them, owing to the thinness of the section. They are part of Auerbach's plexus and belong to the enteric division of the autonomic nervous system. Other nuclei belong to satellite cells, fibroblasts, and capillary endothelial cells.
