Lymph node, reticular fibers (20x objective lens)


This section of a lymph node stained with silver shows the scaffolding of reticular fibers, produced by reticular cells, that characterizes the connective tissue of lymphoid organs and tissues. The reticular fiber scaffolding of a lymphatic nodule with its germinal center is located just right of center.
