Sweat Gland (10x objective lens)


In the bottom part of this image is a coiled sweat gland, nestled among the fat cells of the hypodermis (subcutaneous tissue) of the skin. The more darkly stained duct from this gland extends through the upper portion of this image toward the surface of the skin (not visible).
