Stratified cuboidal epithelium (40x objective lens)


This section shows the stratified cuboidal epithelium that forms the walls of the ducts of sweat glands. Two ducts cut in cross section can be seen in the upper half of this image. Note that the wall of the duct is composed of two layers of cuboidal cell. Two other ducts, cut in tangential section can also be seen: one in the upper half of the image and one in the lower half.
