Pancreas (10x objective lens)

This view of the pancreas shows: (1) exocrine acini, which form the bulk of the gland; (2) endocrine islets of Langerhans, which stain more lightly; and (3) connective tissue septa, which divide the gland into lobules. A large interlobular duct can be seen in the lower right-hand corner of the image.
Stain = Iron hematoxylin & eosin
