Submaxillary Gland (40x objective lens)

This high magnification view of the submaxillary gland shows a mixture of basophilic serous secretory units and unstained mucous secretory units with basophilic serous demilunes. Note the intercalated ducts amidst the secretory units. A part of a striated duct can be seen in the upper right hand cornerof the image.
