Reticular connective tissue (40x objective lens)


This section from a lymph node has been stained to reveal the reticular fibers, which establish the structure of most lymphoid tissues. The reticular fibers are fine and stain black with silver. Large numbers of cell nuclei can also be seen.
 
Stain = Silver Reticular Fiber Stain.
