Osteoclast (100x objective lens)


A large, multinucleated osteoclast is seen in the center of the field. It is attached to blue-stained spicules of membrane bone in the skull of a developing rodent. A second osteoclast can be seen in the lower center part of the field.

Several osteocytes can be seen within lacunae.

Stain = AZAN
