Blood smear: small lymphocyte (100x objective lens)

This image from a blood smear shows a small lymphocyte with its characteristic circular, darkly stained nucleus. In this cell the thin rim of blue-stained cytoplasm has been distorted during the drying process so that it is not evenly distributed.

Stain = Wright's Blood Stain.
