Blood smear: small lymphocytes (100x objective lens)


Below are three images of small lymphocytes, characterized by a circular,condensed, dark-stained nucleus, surrounded by a rim of blue-stained cytoplasm of variable thickness. Note that as the amount of cytoplasm increases, the nucleus tends to be increasingly off center.

Stain = Wright's Blood Stain.
