Blood smear: large lymphocyte (100x objective lens)

This images shows a large lymphocyte, characterized by an off-center, dark-stained nucleus, surrounded by a thick rim of cytoplasm. In this cell the cytoplasm is lightly stained and contains small granules, which indicates that this may be a killer T-lymphocyte.

Stain = Wright's Blood Stain.
