The 2007 David Ross Boyd Lectures

 

The Department of Philosophy is hosting the 10th Annual David Ross Boyd Lectures on Monday, Oct. 1, Wednesday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 5.

Christine M. Korsgaard, Arthur Kingsley Porter Professor of Philosophy at Harvard University, will present "Moral Animals." All lectures will take place at 4:30 p.m. in Nielsen Hall, Room 270.

Monday's lecture is titled "Animal Nature and the Good." Wednesday will be "Human Nature and the Right," and Friday's lecture is "Human Beings and the Other Animals."
