Sooner Heritage

Do You Need Money for School Next Year?

Any student in the College of Arts and Sciences, regardless of need, may apply for the Sooner Heritage Scholarships. All you need is a FAFSA and a pen!

President David Boren initiated the Sooner Heritage Scholarships program in 2003 to help students from middle-income families who may not qualify for federal and state grants, but who need help with increased tuition and fees. Consideration is given to special circumstances, such as families with more than one student at OU.

These scholarships are funded by tuition waivers and cash awards which are made possible by alumni and friends of the University through annual and endowment contributions.
