A&S Recruiters' Day a Great Success for Employers
Making connections with corporate, governmental and non-profit organizations that might provide internships for A&S students or jobs to A&S graduates was the focus of Recruiters’ Day on July 26. Nearly 50 human resources professionals spent the day learning more about the value of hiring OU’s A&S graduates.
After hearing from Bette Scott, director of Career Services, who outlined ways that recruiters can make contact with students who are actively seeking internships and jobs, Dean Paul B. Bell Jr. spoke about the ways that the college is preparing students for careers. He told the recruiters about three academic minors that prepare and credential students for positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations. He also offered to help the recruiters contact and meet students who might be interested in working in their organizations.
