Loretta Bass, associate professor of sociology, received one of eleven fellowships awarded by the George A. and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation. She will receive $25,000 for the 2006-2007 academic year to work on her project "The Assimilation of Sub-Saharan African Immigrant Children in France."
David W. McCauley, assistant professor of zoology, recently published an article on the evolution of vertebrates in the June issue of Nature as a Letter to Nature. Read more on this by clicking here.
